Semi-cured gel nail wraps are the next step up in nail wrap technology. These wraps are made from UV-cured gel polish, and are partially cured to form a nail wrap that is thicker, and less flexible than 100% nail polish wraps. For some, the lack of flexibility/stretch makes them more difficult to apply; but for many (our testers, included), the thicker wrap hides more of your natural nail's flaws.
After application, you finish curing the gel polish under a UV lamp. The result is a salon-style gel manicure that is hard, shiny, and very durable!
The NG-Series comes with 20 nail wraps per package.

     Application

To apply semi-cured gels, carefully complete the following steps:

    1. Wash your hands and clean your nails of any old polish. If desired, use an alcohol wipe.
    2. Gently push back your cuticles to avoid contact with the wrap.
    3. Choose a wrap that fits the nail side-to-side. When in doubt, choose a wrap that is slightly smaller than the nail. If necessary, choose a larger wrap and cut it to shape before applying.
    4. Remove the wrap from the backing, and press onto the nail, starting at the cuticle edge on one side, and focusing upon first one side of the wrap, then the other.
    5. Ensure the edges of the wrap are carefully pressed down using your fingers, an orange stick, or a rubber cuticle pusher.
    6. Trim the wraps just past the tip of the nail - don't worry, you'll remove the excess later!
    7. Repeat with all nails
    8. Cure under a UV/LED Lamp until fully hard - generally about 60-120 seconds. Different lamps and different gels will require different curing times.
    9. Once cured, gently file off the excess and finish shaping the nail.
    10. Semi-cured gels generally do not require a top coat, but if you prefer, you may add a top coat of your choice.

    Removal:

    1. Gently pry up the corners or edges of your wrap at the cuticle side.
    2. Remove the nails using one of the following methods:
    • Polish Remove: Soak a cotton ball in the polish remover of your choice, and press onto the nail for several minutes to dissolve the wrap an adhesive. You may use tin foil, or plastic clips to hold the cotton ball in place.
    • Oil Remove: Apply an oil of your choice (such as coconut, cuticle, etc.) to the nail bed where the wrap has been lifted. Using a gentle implement (such as an orange stick or rubber cuticle pusher) begin to gently and slowly work the oil into the edges of the wrap so that it may affect the adhesive and allow you to lift the wrap off without damage.

In general, it is best to avoid peeling wraps off the nail to avoid damage.
